Optimising operational performance

The solution made it possible to improve collection performance continuously and to cut manual entries by 85% , which had been done through an Excel file shared per site on Google Drive. Some skips had a low rotation rate at certain recycling centres and were reallocated to other sites — 5% less unnecessary investment in new skips.

Activity tracking: separating every step

The trackers were configured to distinguish skip states: Departure, Movement, Stop, Orientation (tipping). Each stage of movement, work and emptying is therefore separated automatically. The solution made it possible to check whether emptying actually took place at the right sites, by pairing tipping alerts with geofences.
